示踪线有专用的防护接头,用于线于线之间的连接,接头具备防水防腐的密闭腔体,将示踪线裸露线头放置于密闭腔体内,从而保护裸露的失踪线头无法被腐蚀,接头由PE材料制造,本身具备抗腐蚀,抗老化能力。

示踪线在铺设时一定要和管道一起放置,埋地管线探测人员要经过培训，并且合格后才能上岗操作,探测时,将管线探测仪发射机一端接在失踪线上,另外一端接地,沿管线大致走向,用管线探测仪探测管线位置和深度。
