热固性树酯基体在加工过程受热作用发生交联形成体型网状结构,其制品在常态下尺寸稳定好,成型之后发生的后收缩性也小。制品在长时间的连续载荷作用下其形状和尺寸变化极小,即蠕变性小。其蠕变性能取决于载荷的大小,温度高低和加载时间的长短诸因素。在固定的载荷和温度条件下,长时间加载后热固性塑料的蠕变量要比热塑性塑料小得多。
